The 27th Circle presents: Competitiveness in a Global World

Professor Schlegelmilch explores different levels of competitiveness. Using a funnel approach, he starts with a brief comparison of Europe, Asia and the USA, then focuses on indicators of country and corporate level competitiveness, and finally on the competitiveness of individual managers. In his talk, he highlights the pivotal role of mastery and education as one of the main drivers of competitiveness and explores reasons for the gulf between many extant management education offers and corporate needs.

Speaker: Bodo B. Schlegelmilch, Ph.D., D.Litt., Ph.D. (hon.)

Professor of International Management and Marketing, Vienna University of Economics and Business
