There were many special moments in my life, it’s difficult to choose only one. Every moment was special in its own way, but one of them was by far the most intense.
This is it, this is my moment! I am now at the helm of the company which I joined in 2003 in the sales team in Cluj. In the years that passed, I have progressed and evolved enormously, both professionally and in my personal life.
In my work life, I now have the exciting opportunity of shaping the future of the company in which I have grown, of leading our team and our entire industry into a new, digital age. The economy is changing; companies, employees and workplace practices are being transformed from the very core, so we, too, are reinventing Edenred’s solutions, our vouchers and cards, in order to accompany a new way of life, a new world.
In my personal life, I am incredibly proud of my family. My children are now 17 and 15, and their extraordinary strength of character, independence and enthusiasm for life are a never-ending source of inspiration, happiness and energy for me and my husband. It’s an incredible feeling to be young(ishJ) parents of these amazing young people and to be partners in their journey of discovering and conquering the world for themselves.
I don’t think I ever had a singular role model, I always live by my own personal values and principles. However, I must say I admire people who are consistent and passionate about everything they do.
My biggest challenge for 2016 is to lead the company and our industry into the digital era. We have started this trend by being the first to launch meal cards (Ticket Restaurant), digital expense management platforms (Spendeo) and employee benefits apps, and we’ve quickly become the frontrunner of the digital vouchers, with an even stronger lead than we already have in the traditional market of meal vouchers.
I want Edenred to consolidate this leadership. I aim to accelerate our transition to digital solutions, and to enable our client companies and organizations to become more effective in their interactions with employees, communities or consumers.
